Pole-mounted switch leak detection system

This system is mainly for dry leak testing of SF6 overhead switches in power systems. It synchronously evacuates the workpiece and the vacuum chamber, maintaining pressure to check for large leaks. Once qualified, helium gas is injected into the tested workpiece, and a helium mass spectrometer is used to determine if there are micro leaks. If qualified, the helium gas inside the tested workpiece is recovered for recycling, and finally, SF6 gas is injected into the workpiece. If a micro leak is detected, it needs to be transferred to a designated point for re-testing.


Product Details

This system is mainly for dry leak detection of SF6 overhead switches. By synchronously vacuuming the workpiece and the vacuum chamber, and maintaining pressure to check for large leaks, after passing the test, helium gas is injected into the tested workpiece. A helium mass spectrometer is then used to determine if there are micro leaks. If qualified, the helium gas inside the tested workpiece is recovered for recycling, and finally, SF6 gas is injected into the workpiece. If a micro leak is detected, the workpiece needs to be transferred to a designated point for re-testing.

The helium leak detection equipment has an automatic roller line that interfaces with the user's non-powered production line, allowing the workpiece to be automatically transported in and out of the vacuum chamber of the helium leak detection equipment, arriving at the designated inspection station.

If the workpiece is confirmed to be qualified by the helium leak detection equipment, the device can display and save various parameters of the operation process and testing. After the workpiece leak detection and inflation are completed, it can be automatically sent back to the production line.

If a leak is detected in the workpiece, the equipment can accurately determine the leak rate of the workpiece, automatically inject helium gas, and then transfer it to the production line, where it is sent to the leak point inspection station. The leak detector will then perform leak point measurement.
