Equipment features

This equipment is a large-scale comprehensive ring model test equipment, including four functional chambers, i.e. the φ 3M equipment room, the φ 1.2m flight section, the φ 2.5m intermediate detection section and the φ 2.5m damage room. The total length of the equipment is 32m. It is mainly used for the ground end thermal vacuum test of the electromagnetic railgun.

Technical performance

1. It includes four functional chambers, namely, the equipment room with diameter of 3M × 6m, the flight section with diameter of 1.2m × 20m, the intermediate detection section with diameter of 2.5m × 3M and the damage room with diameter of 2.5m × 3.5m;

2. No load limit vacuum degree at room temperature: 3x10-4pa;

3. Space temperature range: - 173 ℃ ~ + 125 ℃;

4. Temperature uniformity: ± 10 ℃ at - 173 ℃, and ± 3 ℃ at room temperature to + 125 ℃;

5. Rate of temperature rise and fall: ≥ 2 ℃ / min;

6. Emissivity of inner surface of heat sink: ε ≥ 0.90.
